To make the best buying or selling decisions, you need to understand the metrics our tool provides. Here is how to interpret the data you see in the search results and full analysis pages:
1. Market Price vs. Mid Price
Market Price (The Gold Standard): This is the most important metric. It represents the actual average price that buyers have recently paid for this card in Near Mint condition. Base your buying and selling decisions on this number.
Mid Price (The Listed Average): This is the median price of all currently active listings. If the Mid Price is significantly higher than the Market Price, it means sellers are overvaluing the card, but buyers aren’t biting.
2. Spotting Arbitrage Opportunities If you see a card in our tool where the Market Price is drastically lower than the Mid Price, look for a green “Below Average” badge. This often indicates a temporary market dip or a highly sought-after card that hasn’t caught up to seller expectations yet—a perfect target for your watchlist.
3. The Graded Premium (PSA 10) Raw (ungraded) cards are just the beginning. When you click on a card to read its full analysis, always check the PSA 10 Graded Value.
